It's Hard To Face The Holidays Without...

'You Might Have Noticed,' but I love The Academy Is...

Happy Holidays. Hope yours was great. Mine went fairly well. That kinda just sounded really British in my head. I can think in accents, but I can't speak in them, except when I get really random ones [like that time I got a Norwegian one.] Go figure.

Anyway, I got a new camera since this kid broke mine on the Bill and Trav's Bogus Journey Tour. And I got an new Ipod. Heather and I were uploading songs onto it and we found Lady Sovereign, 'Love Me or Hate Me.' I haven't heard that in forever. Granted, we started laughing when we started listening to it. Then we started discussing her about how she was the English rapper, and she always has her hair in a ponytail on the one side.
I still have to finish putting stuff on my Ipod though.

Tomorrow is going to be pretty fun. I get to go see Every Avenue, I think they're pretty good, and The Riot. They're a band local to here, Lancaster, Pa. [Lan(g)-cas-ter]. But I'm friends with Ryan, the singer. He works at hot topic. They're different, and it has to do with his voice, but they're still pretty good.
But I'm going tmrw with Heather and Hope. We'll have fun, I'm definitely having a monster beforehand. Haha.

Speaking of monsters, we had an earthquake here the other day. Scared me so bad. 3.3 magnitude on the Ricter Scale. The epicenter was about one mile from my house. But everything just shook and rumbled. My aunt from California wasn't impressed. She's been in much worse, she lives, or lived, right along the San Andres fault line. [This has gotten pretty long.]

My friends and I just found out we can form a band. We just need out lessons, which won't be too bad since Hope is already taking guitar and Mahalia and her sister and getting guitar and bass lessons respectively. I want voice lessons and Heather needs to learn the drums. We'll see how that goes. For her it's just the matter of using each hand and each foot to do something different, which might be difficult. And Aggie is definitely becoming our keyboard/tarist.

This has gotten really long, I guess that's what I get for not writing for about a week. Well, I'll be back later, maybe again tonight.

Goodnight,
~Ryan
